Just Daddy and Me

Today is game day. Ben is a HUGE colts fan. We just sat down to watch the super bowl and we are so excited! I thought I would put some pics up of just the two of them.

This is how we eat ice cream together

This is me suiting up for the big game

But then I peed on it....but luckily Daddy bought me 3 Colts outfits. So here is outfit number 2.

Here's Daddy and me watching the game together. I was really tired.

But Daddy is a little too loud and kept waking me up. So Mommy took me. I wouldn't let her put me down so we're watching the rest of the game in the moby wrap so she can get move around the house.

One week old

Look at those cheeks, doesn't it make you just want to eat him up?

No more pictures mom.

This has been the fastest week of my life. I feel like the days are just flying by. My mom just left yesterday. I'm so glad she was able to come out here for the birth and to help out. She was a lifesaver. Oliver has been a pretty good baby. He doesn't really cry that much except at the bewitching hour which is around 6. For some reason he's just had it by then. Other than that, I feel like I know his schedule pretty well. It's an endless 3 hour cycle. Change him, feed him, and burp him. As soon as I'm done with that he usually needs to be changed again. Lol. Then I have about an hour or two and then the whole cycle starts over again. He doesn't really like his bassinet that much so we're just going straight for the crib. He seems to do a little bit better in there. Last night was the first night we tried it and he woke up about every 40 min and would cry for 10 min and then fall asleep for another 40 min and then it would be time to feed him again. It was really hard to just let him cry but he has to learn sometime I guess. Ben has to go back to work on Monday and he'll be leaving on a trip really soon. So we need Oliver to like his crib before he leaves or there will be no sleep for me.

This is what a typical shift looks like. :) Even the puppies are tired. But like you all said, they won't stay this little forever so we're trying to soak it all up.
